Food Energy giver or Energy taker?

I was watching Mr Olympia 2020 on TV. Mr Olympia 2008 Mr Dexter Jackson at 51 years of age was retiring from competitive bodybuilding. During his interview. He said jokingly “Now he doesn’t have to eat so much food”. I was confused as to why a person would take eating as a punishment, not pleasure.

Since I started working out, I wanted to look good shirtless so I needed to consume more food so that I could build muscles. When I started eating clean Indian food like roti, rice, dal & sabzi it became very difficult for me to overeat. Whenever I eat my body's major energy Goes into digesting food. I used to feel numb and sleepy. Ever experienced when eating chole Bhature Lassi, how sleepy you feel. when you eat dal rice or sabzi roti where your appetite is four roti but you ate only three roti, the body feels light, and working, reading, studying, and playing, become super easy and comfortable.

Mother nature works beautifully in balance. If there is a balance of summer, spring, spring and winter there is great crop growth that year. If there is a balance of all beings like worms, reptiles, birds, animals, and fish whole ecosystem works well similarly our body works at its peak when we consume balanced food means our food has good carbs, fats, proteins fibre and micronutrients. When we start dividing food into groups and call them high protein, high fat, and high fibre such diets may win for the short term, but in long term eating, balanced food works.
